G-B Marine Services, Inc. was incorporated in September 1984 and has been providing marine oriented services to the Mid-Atlantic region ever since. These services include but are not limited to representing our clients who are having custom vessels constructed or major refits to either wood or fiberglass vessels. We also provide captain services by the hour, day, or longer as required for delivery, personal services, or hands-on training. Vessel surveys are performed for pre-purchase, insurance coverage, refinancing, donations, and estate settlements. We also represent the insured or the insurer for damage claims of all kinds.
Our goal is to do whatever is required to represent our client's interest in a complete and professional manner. We are members of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors® (SAMS®) and are accredited in the Standards published for the Marine Manufacturers Association of America by the American Boat and Yacht Council. It is these Standards we use as guidelines for construction and refit projects, and surveys. We also use the mandatory standards promulgated by the United States Coast Guard, Code of Federal Regulations, and voluntary standards published by the National Fire Protection Association.
